Finishing Grade 12 is an important transition, but it does not have to end a learner’s connection with the school community. Former learners remain part of the wider Phatfwa community through the shared experience of learning, growing and preparing for the future.
That connection can be expressed in responsible, respectful ways. Former learners may encourage younger learners to take their studies seriously, value the guidance of educators and make thoughtful choices. Their role is not to make promises or speak for everyone, but to offer steady encouragement grounded in care for the community.
Current learners can also maintain positive connections by showing respect, communicating appropriately and remembering that every contribution should support a safe and constructive school environment. Community lasts when people stay considerate, accountable and willing to help.
